KUALA LUMPUR: AFC Champions League champions Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan will be holding a football clinic here in the capital of Malaysia on May 6, 2008.

The objective of ‘Heart-full Soccer’ by the Asian club champions is create a “grassroots international exchange” in Asia and teach children the importance of fair play and team work.

Urawa have held similar clinics in China, Indonesia, Korea Republic, Thailand and UAE previously.

The sessions in Kuala Lumpur are meant for primary school students and each session lasts 80 minutes. Several coaches (most of them former professional players) will attend the clinic.

Urawa won the AFC Champions League title last year by defeating Sepahan of Iran in the final.
